Beauty for Ashes is a ministry of restoration to women. Our goal is to achieve wholeness and empowerment so that, as women, we may attain our full and unique identity in God. Where there was despair and disappointment, Beauty for Ashes helps women connect to their hope and destiny.
Our purpose is aptly described: "...to provide for those who grieve in Zion - to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair." (Isaiah 61:3)

I have served as Beauty for Ashes Event Coordinator for the past 4 years. Manywaters Ministries was introduced to me in 2001. I attended my first Beauty for Ashes Conference at that time and I have always left with new insight on my purpose as a believer and a woman. Our president has a gift of drawing the women who attend our conferences into a new dimension by using visuals in a way to teach the word of God. I believe this is distinctive to ManyWaters Ministries and makes a powerful impact on us. You will have to attend one of our conferences to experience it! I hope to meet you there!

Beauty for Ashes Weekend - FEBRUARY 26 - 28, 2010 will focus on the women that traveled with Jesus and His disciples. Their powerful stories inspired many to come to Jesus and influence their own communities. I truly believe that our stories can create an atmosphere and environment for God's revelation to touch lives today as well, and perhaps is our greatest resource!
Our weekend will offer biblical teaching, inspirational worship and prayer, teaching how to write your story through creative methods, a TOUR of beautiful Amish sites, great food, and much more. We will also offer an optional tour of Philadelphia sites on Monday, March 1. Look for more details coming soon. We'd love to have you and your friends join us!
