One morning in 1997, I woke up with the word "many waters" on my lips. I had been asking the Spirit for understanding and what to call the ministry I had been called to do - the passion that was growing within.
ManyWaters is about the flow of life within each person and each nation. It is about their unique sound - their true voice and unique expression and gift to the world around them.
ManyWaters is all about creating environments for that life within to flow and extend outwards for the betterment of all and the glory of the Source of all life, our Creator. John 7:3-7
There is a Sound of many waters that refreshes, renews, restores, and rejoices. It is described throughout scripture, alive today, and will extend through eternity.
I resonate best with Revelation 14:2, "And I heard a sound from heaven like the roar of rushing waters and like a loud peal of thunder. The sound I heard was like that of harpists playing their harps. And they sang a new song before the throne..."
Walking In Beauty ~ A spiritual journey to Navajoland
I (Carol) have been actively learning and serving alongside Native people since the mid-90's. This focus for ministry started through a vision I had and words I heard in my spirit. The spiritual awareness of this experience stayed with me in such a manner that I had to follow what I believed was the voice of my higher power, Creator God. This has led to leading spiritual journeys and many friendships.
Through my non-profit ministry, ManyWaters, we are building a partnership with The Friends of Navajoland, a ministry of the Episcopal Church in Navajoland. Currently, we are developing spiritual journeys that will work to bring understanding about the Navajo culture and world view, and encourage partnerships to form between Native and non-Native people for the betterment of all our lives. I am excited about what is forming from our shared dreams, strengths, and gifts to one another. There will be much more to come....as we walk together in beauty. Carol
